For nearly a year now, I have been working here in Marseille on the construction site of a newspaper publisher where a very large web printing press is being installed. My two native languages are Arabic and French, but of course I also speak German, because I have lived in Munich for years.
Since it is important to our French customer that French be spoken on the construction site, there is a lot for me to do as a technician and interpreter. Our mixed team consists of German and French employees. My primary task is to ensure good communication between the employees, the manufacturer of the equipment and the customer. I am also often used in training courses, where I assist the specialist from the equipment manufacturer.
The work is challenging and has a lot of variety. But that's what makes it so enjoyable for me. I am under contract with intelliJOB as a freelancer. Instead of living in a hotel, I have rented a small apartment here in Marseille. It is now practically my second home.
This is my third assignment for intelliJOB. The projects have all been similar, and the support from the intelliJOB team works well, too.
